Travel Advisor (Independent Contractor) – Woodbrey Family Travel

Woodbrey Family Travel specializes in creating unforgettable vacation experiences. As an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, we focus heavily on Disney destinations while also partnering with major cruise lines, Universal Studios, independent and group tour providers, and global travel companies including Expedia, Viator, and BedsOnline. Through our membership with the Travel Leaders Network, we maintain professional relationships with hundreds of travel companies worldwide, allowing us to help clients plan nearly any vacation imaginable.

As a travel advisor with our team, you’ll gain access to our industry partnerships and credentials, including our distinction as an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

This position is a commission-based, W-9 independent contractor opportunity ideal for individuals seeking flexibility while building a travel business.

Responsibilities

Travel advisors are expected to:

• Build and grow their own client base
• Plan, quote, and book vacations for clients
• Manage and promote services through social media platforms
• Continue expanding destination and industry knowledge
• Participate in bi-weekly team trainings and educational opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after travel experiences
• Maintain organization while managing multiple clients and bookings

Time Commitment

Candidates should be able to dedicate approximately 5–10+ hours per week toward:

• Training and professional development
• Client communication and trip planning
• Marketing and social media engagement
• Building and maintaining a clientele base

This role can be pursued alongside another full-time job; however, success requires consistent effort and commitment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong customer service and networking skills
• Ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
• Sales experience (preferred but not required)
• Comfort using social media, internet tools, and cloud-based software
• A passion for travel and personal travel experience
• Frequent travel history, preferably multiple trips annually
• Experience visiting Disney destinations at least once per year (preferred)
